Residents of Reykjavik, Iceland, are in for an American craft beer treat. On June 3, the Maine Brewers’ Guild shipped a 40-foot refrigerated container filled with 78 taps and dozens of brands of Maine craft beer to the world’s northernmost capital.
The brewers are calling it, according to the Washington Post, “the largest ‘kegerator’ ever built.”
The container, which has taps on the outside so people can pour themselves a beer right outside the box, will debut at the BjórFestival craft beer festival on June 24. Then, Icelandic craft brewers will send it back with Iceland craft beer for Maine’s Summer Session Beer Festival on July 29. Read More
